Oregon ShakeAlarm™ System Installed with CoreFirst

The ShakeAlarm™ system, Oregon's first, has been tied into the gas feeds entering the building, and in the event of a large scale earthquake, will immediately shut off gas entering the building in an effort to mitigate fire damage should the lines get severed.

ShakeAlarm™ is currently going through site characterization work (the teaching of the algorithm to identify P-Waves, and ignore other sources of sound, such as traffic) and will be online in 60 days.
